Golf Against Cancer

The Golf Against Cancer is a fundraising event that was created by Gaétan Cusson, a prostate cancer survivor and golf enthusiast. Over the years, he has been able to mobilize many people and has convinced several donors and partners to join the cause of prostate cancer research.

After an enforced pause last year, the Golf Against Cancer tournament is back in force in 2021. On September 16, the 8th edition of the event was held at the Montreal Country Club located in Saint-Lambert. The formula for this edition has been revised to comply with Public Health directives as well as with the rules and procedures established by the Country Club of Montreal, while ensuring a unique experience for players.

As part of the Golf Against Cancer 2021, the Institut du cancer de Montréal has raised a total of $95,914 net for prostate cancer research! Since 2013, over $745,000 has been raised for prostate cancer research led by Dr. Fred Saad and his team.
