Dr. Thierry Alcindor is the Director of Medical Oncology at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and Associate Professor of Oncology and Medicine at McGill University.
Dr. Thierry Alcindor obtained his MD degree at Université d’État d’Haïti, then trained in Internal Medicine at Yale and Hematology/Oncology at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He holds a Master’s degree in Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Oxford.
His clinical research portfolio includes investigator-initiated studies and trials with pharmaceutical companies and cooperative groups. He chairs the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) Sarcoma Group and co-chairs the CCTG Esophago-Gastric Group. He belongs to the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Scientific Program Committee and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Faculty.
