Dr. Normand Blais is a co-founder of the Groupe d’Études en Oncologie du Québec and is the Chair of the thoracic oncology program of the University of Montreal Health Centre (CHUM) Cancer center.
Dr. Blais graduated from Sherbrooke University and completed his
residency at Sherbrooke and University of Montreal in Internal medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology. He then completed his sabbatical at McMaster University.
Dr. Blais’ main focus of interests are in lung cancer, specifically their clinical trials and correlative science. He also has clinical research expertise in lung and bladder cancer. His clinical and research interests are in cancer-associated thrombosis.
