Co-leading the patient engagement and education activity within the Quebec Cancer Consortium, Dr. Marie-Ève Pelland is a leading health psychologist specializing in cancer.
Dr. Pelland completed her doctoral internships specializing in both psycho-oncology at the University of Montreal Health Centre (CHUM) and anxiety disorders at the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal. She started as a health psychologist in both clinical and consulting roles, including working at the radio-oncology department of the CHUM. After completing her clinical and research doctorate at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), she spearheaded an initiative for a psycho-social research committee at the CHUM. Her interests lie in cancer-treatment related anxiety and its consequences, patient reported outcomes and cancer-related fatigue. Dr. Pelland has collaborated and consulted on numerous multi-center trials.
