Luisa Izzi joined the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute in 2018 as a Research Advisor and has been serving as the Project Manager for the Quebec Cancer Consortium since June 2019.

Dr. Izzi completed her PhD at the University of Toronto, where she developed expertise in cell signalling and embryonic development. During her postdoctoral training at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM), she studied the role of Shh co-receptors in cerebellum development. She also worked as a research associate at the Institute of Research in Immunology and Cancer and lead studies examining the role of the Ubiquitin-Proteasome Pathway in cell proliferation.
