{"id":553,"date":"2021-06-10T15:23:04","date_gmt":"2021-06-10T19:23:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cqc-qcc.ca\/?post_type=qcc_members&#038;p=553"},"modified":"2021-10-28T15:53:55","modified_gmt":"2021-10-28T19:53:55","slug":"thierry-alcindor","status":"publish","type":"qcc_members","link":"https:\/\/www.cqc-qcc.ca\/en\/members-and-partners\/thierry-alcindor\/","title":{"rendered":"Thierry Alcindor, MD, MSc"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"is-style-intro-text wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Thierry Alcindor is the Director of Medical Oncology at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and Associate Professor of Oncology and Medicine at McGill University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Thierry Alcindor obtained his MD degree at Universit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00c9tat d\u2019Ha\u00efti, then trained in Internal Medicine at Yale and Hematology\/Oncology at Tufts-New England Medical Center. He holds a Master\u2019s degree in Experimental Therapeutics from the University of Oxford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His clinical research portfolio includes investigator-initiated studies and trials with pharmaceutical companies and cooperative groups. He chairs the Canadian Cancer Trials Group (CCTG) Sarcoma Group and co-chairs the CCTG Esophago-Gastric Group.
