Dr. Watson is a member of the Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute and is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at McGill University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Watson\u2019s research focuses on understanding how mutated genes identified in next-generation sequencing promote cutaneous melanoma progression and response to therapy. His lab utilizes inter-disciplinary approaches combining unbiased molecular characterization of melanoma tumors, rapid development of preclinical models using genome editing technology, and bioinformatic approaches.
