Its goals are to standardize and harmonize practices in clinical and translational research, to improve cancer treatment by accelerating advances in precision medicine and immuno-oncology, and to engage with cancer patients to develop educational material and raise awareness of clinical trials of precision medicine and immunotherapies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/muhc.ca\/cancer-care\">Cedars Cancer Centre<\/a> at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/muhc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">McGill University Health Centre<\/a>\u00a0(MUHC) and the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rimuhc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Research Institute of the MUHC<\/a><\/li><li>the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jgh.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jewish General Hospital<\/a>\u00a0(JGH) and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jgh.ca\/care-services\/segal-cancer-centre\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Segal Cancer Centre<\/a>\u00a0at the JGH<\/li><li>the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chumontreal.qc.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\">Centre hospitalier de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de\u00a0Montr\u00e9al (CHUM)<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chumontreal.qc.ca\/en\/crchum\" target=\"_blank\">Research Centre of CHUM<\/a><\/li><li>the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ciusss-estmtl.gouv.qc.ca\/etablissement\/hopital-maisonneuve-rosemont\" target=\"_blank\">H\u00f4pital Maisonneuve-Rosemont<\/a>\u00a0(HMR) and\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/crhmr.ciusss-estmtl.gouv.qc.ca\/en\" target=\"_blank\">the\u00a0Centre de recherche de l\u2019HMR<\/a><\/li><li>the\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/gci\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rosalind and Morris Goodman Cancer Institute<\/a>\u00a0at McGill University and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgillgenomecentre.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">McGill Genome Center<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The QCC is accelerating research on molecular diagnostics and therapeutics for cancer and putting patients&#8217; experiences and needs front and centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">QCC members are collaborating to advance cancer research and save lives by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Developing infrastructure to fuel the discovery and development of new precision cancer therapies and diagnostic tests to match patients with the best possible treatments.<\/li><li>Translating discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic.<\/li><li>Educating patients on the essential role of clinical trials in developing new treatments.<\/li><li>Empowering patients to participate in ongoing and future precision oncology and immunotherapy clinical trials.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What we stand for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are committed to promoting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Scientific Excellence through fostering innovative clinical and translational research based on principles of integrity and ethical practices.<\/li><li>Multidisciplinary Collaboration across institutions through sharing data and resources, integrating technological platforms and standardizing practices and protocols.<\/li><li>Patient engagement through partnering with communities to develop inclusive scientific priorities, clinical trials, and research projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who we are The Quebec Cancer Consortium for Novel Therapeutics and Biomarkers (QCC) is a collaborative network of four hospitals, with their respective research centres, and two university-based cancer research centres.
